SpiraLinks was founded in the early 1990's. Our background was planning, designing and developing large-scale systems, databases and networks, and the advent of the Web was an obvious convergence that we began to use immediately.
Even in the early days, using pre-release beta versions of Netscape 0.9, we built customer support systems for Informix that reduced cycle time and saved money for the company while vastly improving customer response time and flexibility.
We subsequently built VAR catalogs for Informix and installed our time keeping, Focal Review and Directories at companies like DHL, Netscape, NUMMI and Inktomi. We've implemented Territory Management and Executive Reference systems for Oracle, built e-commerce products for Sun and Maxtor, and installed marketing tools for Cisco. We are a committed end-to-end builder of web-enabled applications and integrator of legacy systems and databases.
This site is dedicated to showing you how our Focal Review product brings together the tools that the internet, web browsers, relational databases, open standards and analytical reporting tools have made possible. In the 1980’s as a profession we learnt how to design systems that support business processes and in the 1990’s we learnt how to integrate them. And now we know how to deploy and manage them.
