The Los Gatos Rowing Club has over 140 junior and 100 adult members rowing on Lexington Reservoir in Los Gatos, California.
In our 30th year, we have sweep and sculling programs for Juniors from 25 high schools and for Masters from beginners to veterans. We have learn-to-row and adaptive programs and share the boathouse with Santa Clara University.
The Women's Varsity Lightweight 8 won National Championships in 2007, 08 and 09, our Varsity 8’s competed in the 2009 National Finals, and we won the Peabody Cup at Henley in 2008. Two alumni were in the world record US Women’s 8 at 2006 World Championships and four rowed for the US in the Women's 8, 4+ and Pair in Munich.
Two Junior Men won Gold in the 2007 U19 US National 8 at the CanAmMex Regatta and we have two rowing for the US at the 2009 World Junior Championships in Brive, France.
